let it glow

Back in April, I shot some long exposure images at a day glow that eventually led to inspiration for a painting. It was a fun, energetic night and I wanted to capture that energy with blocked out areas of glow-in-the-dark paint, which is by the way, very thin and difficult to build volume with. Here are the original images:

This is the final piece and this is me donating it to the guys who threw the party. Kind of looks like I'm receiving one of those giant novelty checks--- jackpot!
