goodbye, Summer

Yesterday, I wore white and mourned the passing of our dear friend, Summer. According to that old fashion faux pas, it's bad style judgement to wear white after Labor Day. The calendar indicates a new season, but the temperature in Florida doesn't. The spirit of summer holds us in her lazy, sweaty embrace year round. So, we Floridians can wear our white year round and wear it in honor of Summer. She's always here. The pit stains of my shirt can prove it.
